A Bit About Me
As a Jackie of all trades, I've ventured into various avenues. Throughout the years I've built a wealth of knowledge and experience. Through many years of soul-searching and deliberation I've FINALLY discovered the wonderful world of copywriting. And the rest is HERstory...MYstory.
A mother of an energetic little tornado, devoted wife, aspiring actress, a budding children's author and now a professional copywriter, I somehow manage to juggle the complexity and randomness which is my life. One minute I'm writing a SEO blog, next I'm submitting a self-tape audition or racing to pick up my little one at school. Everyday is different yet exciting. And I wouldn't change it for anything.
Work Experience
So let's expand on the whole "Jackie of all Trades" self-coined title. Unlike the old adage implying 'master of none", I assure you this is the not the case. With a wealth of varied experience it enriches the type of copy I can create. Starting from my first job at Baker's Delight to now a professional copywriter, everything in-between provides the many facets of my work. During my time at Guild Group insurance as an Underwriting assistant it honed my time management and organisational skills. Macmillan Publishers as an IT desk support tested my technical problem-solving skills. Embarking as a self-employed massage therapist embraced my natural intuition, heightened my level of empathy and taught me the importance of good health and well-being. As an actress, I have fearless public-speaking skills, in tune listening abilities and the ability to adapt in any situation. My time at Churchill Pryce Wealth group helped our family establish a successful financial planning and mortgage broking business, creating strong bonds and networks and let's face it, I'm a bonafide tea-making connoisseur. After some time off to start a family, copywriting found me and yanked me into cohesion. I found my true calling; a professional writer/copywriter.

Education
Completing a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Media and Communications provided me a platter of all things media and communications. We covered PR, film and tv, creative writing, radio and more. We dabbled with radio programming, film production, all forms of writing, I could go on. And let's face it, it made my parents super proud to have their eldest daughter bring home a university degree. From there although I didn't really follow down that creative path, I did so in many ways. I completed a Certificate in Massage Therapy, I've done a number of short courses in acting and writing until I discovered copywriting. Something I kick myself for not doing 20 years ago.
I completed the Copywriting Essentials course via The Australian Writers' centre which sparked my interest in copywriting. When I completed the Ultimate Client Experience c0urse at The Copy School ignited my confidence but when I completed The Shot of Copy 3 week internship it cemented my certainty that I am on the right path.
